Chairman, DAAR Communications Plc, High Chief Aleogho Dokpesi, has disclosed that the former President Olusegun Obasanjo administration, sent the MOSSAD, the highly dreaded Israeli State Secret Service unit to eliminate him and destroy the broadcast operations of the company, over the company’s refusal to support the moribund third term tall dream in 2007.
Speaking extempore while welcoming guests to the formal commissioning of the Africa’s Digital Multi-Channel Direct-To-Home Pay Television (DAARSAT), in Abuja on Tuesday, Dokpesi explained that the plan failed because the unit refused to undertake the hatchet job, until its 6 million dollars asking price was paid instead of the N6 million offered it.
He said; “MOSSAD was paid N6 million and somebody who was supposed to pay Israeli Secret Service said he wanted the money in dollar and not in naira.”
